Dear Aunt,
As I promised you that I would let
you know when my sister Sarah
had a child, she was safely delivered
of a son on Thursday morning the 20th
and they are both doing well at
present. Her father in law was taken ill
on Wednesday and died on Friday
which I am afraid will keep her back
from doing so well as I could wish.
Sister Mary little boy is lying very
ill not likely to recover. Aunt Hague
has been very poorly but is better.
My grandmother is as well as can
be expected. My father and mother
are both well and send their kind
love to you, all hoping that you are
all well. Please give my kind love to Mrs
Evans and Miss Hall and the same
yourself from your affectionate niece,
